Our vision is a collaborative region-wide radio station that offers an option for music immersion of Christian rock and hip hop music available locally and globally; a website of Christian-based resources and a community of listeners where God's love can be heard by turning the station on and the world off.
97x Mission Statement
Our mission is to impact listeners, both pre-evangelized and Christian music fans, by providing a Christian rock and hip hop music format, both online and on air. WIXL 97X will format the music station to present listeners with godly music and positive messaging. The website will introduce followers to resources that fulfill the Great Commission. This radio station will be a collaborative ministry between the Madison, WI area metro churches and Christian organizations. City Church of Madison will hold the FCC license and lead in this collaborative effort of evangelism.
