Journey With Us

We all know that life is a journey. There are thousands of great inspirational quotes to remind us that where we are right now isn't really the end-all-to-be-all. There's more to your story that isn't written yet.

Celebrate Recovery

There are two fundamental lies circulating in society that hinder a person's well-being. The first is that in order to come off as strong and independent, you have to give the illusion that everything is okay and you have it all together. I say illusion because none of us ever have it all together and that's perfectly fine.

There are two fundamental lies circulating in society that hinder a person's well-being. The first is that in order to come off as strong and independent, you have to give the illusion that everything is okay and you have it all together. I say illusion because none of us ever have it all together and that's perfectly fine. The second lie is that we don't need anyone to succeed in life. No one is needed for us to accomplish everything we want emotionally, physically, or maybe economically. We want friendship but don't require it. The truth is we were made for community. We were made for connection and relationship. If not, God would have had no desire to create us. He created us specifically for connection, for relationship.

Celebrate Recovery is all about relationship. It is a journey to come closer to God, learn to give up bad habits, hurts and hang-ups, and in the process develop great friendships and lifelong accountability. We all need help sometimes and we all need the tools to overcome our pain and addictions that mostly form out of that pain. Celebrate Recovery can help you get a new start apart from your hurts and habits. We can help you truly hang-up your hang-ups for good! Like so many things that bring good change all that is required of you is to be teachable and willing.

Right now in Madison, Celebrate Recovery meets in person at Ridgeway Church on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm. We have a time of worship, a lesson or testimony and then some solid small group time to unload the frustrations and setbacks the week has given us. The small group time is my favorite because it encourages me to hear others share in their struggle. It reminds me that I am not alone in my struggle and that there is hope for my future.

Ridgeway Church and their Celebrate Recovery ministry just passed three years of God's faithfulness and serving the local community. They have experienced and reliable leaders that can answer any questions you might have or help you in your next steps. If this sounds like something for you, we would love to have you join us.
